Traveling with Oversized Luggage

  • Are carts available for carrying oversized baggage in the terminal?

    Luggage carts are provided by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey at a cost of $6 for use in pre-security areas and in Customs. Another option is T4 Services porterage service, which is available at both check-in and baggage claim for a fee of $7 per bag. 

  • How can I check the weight limit for luggage on my flight?

    Each carrier sets its own baggage policies. Please check your airline's website for details regarding your flight(s).

Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East and resulting airspace closures, a small number of flights at JFKT4 have been delayed or canceled.

Passengers are advised to check with their airline for the latest flight status, updates and rebooking options.

For travelers who typically use Global Entry, please anticipate extra processing time as this service remains suspended.

We encourage those eligible to make use of MPC and to follow properly marked primary processing lanes for U.S. citizens and permanent residents or properly marked visitor lanes.
