Lance Bryer- TSA
For Lance, T4 is the melting pot of JFK.
After 9/11, Lance Bryer signed up for the then newly formed TSA and has been at T4 for 12 years. “I saw the direct cause of what transportation failure does. I was activated down to Ground Zero as a military police officer. I worked down at the morgue and was also down in the pit digging, " he shares. "After I came off active duty, TSA was formed and that’s how I ended up at JFK. I like to explain to my employees about 9/11 and why we’re here."
Bryer's dedication is admirable. "As someone in the military, there are certain holidays that I make sure not to take off. On Veteran’s Day I go celebrate and march in the parade. However, on Memorial Day and 9/11 I’m always here. I want to make sure during these key holiday’s that my employees are aware of why they’re working and what we stand for.” he says.
